I’ve found myself in a bit of a style rut since returning from Europe. Winter is normally my favourite season, and I love the fashion that comes with the cold weather. But this winter seems harsher and colder than previous years. I’m not sure if it’s the fact that I leave for work earlier than I used to, and therefore endure a freezing wait at the bus stop at 7am, or if the warmth of Santorini is still fresh on my mind. Despite only being back for a month, I’m already researching a short tropical holiday in the near future.

Instead of feeling inspired to put together stylish outfits, I find myself reaching for the same pieces every day. I’ve developed a uniform of sorts, consisting of a cashmere knit, trousers (or jeans on weekends), loafers and a coat. This combo never fails and is comfortable and most importantly, warm.
