NIGHTTIME ROUTINE

Going to bed is probably my favourite time of day.  I look forward to it practically as soon as I wake up of a morning.  But even though I’d love nothing more than to collapse into my pillows at 10pm, the beauty routine takes priority.
.
As I get older, skincare has become more and more important to me.  Gone are the days where I could quickly rub my face with a makeup wipe and call it a day (though makeup wipes are still a lifesaver for those nights when you’ve had a few too many cocktails and just. can’t. be. bothered).  I’ve been trying to (slowly) migrate over to natural and ethical beauty products, as I’ve found that my skin responds so much better.
.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been using Edible Beauty products, and have noticed a huge difference.  The philosophy behind Edible Beauty products is that if you wouldn’t put in your mouth, you shouldn’t put it on your skin.  Simply put, the ingredients in the products are good enough to eat.
.
Each evening, I remove my makeup, and cleanse with Edible Beauty’s Belle Frais Facial Cleansing Milk.  Then, while sitting on the bed (usually with a cat curled around my feet), I apply Snowflower Illuminating Face Oil, followed by Sleeping Beauty Purifying Mousse.  This product is my absolute favourite.  It’s described as a ‘sleep mask’, and the mousse is applied in a thick layer on your face, and sleep with it on.  When I wake up in the morning, my skin is well-rested and radiant.  The best part is, it has a divine subtle rose scent, and feels so beautifully luxurious.
