The first time I travelled to Japan, the store I was most excited to visit was Uniqlo, and I was thrilled when they finally opened a store in Sydney in 2014. Since then, I’ve amassed quite the collection of cashmere jumpers and cotton shirts, but I’ve strangely never tried their denim. Once I did though, I was hooked.

I am a total jeans addict, and have way too many pairs in every shade of black and blue, with varying degrees of distressing. My number-one requirement when shopping for jeans is fit and comfort. Due to the super-stretch nature of these jeans, they fit like a dream, and feel like I’m wearing leggings. I also love a good frayed hem, all the better to show off a killer pair of heels!

I also picked up a couple of these shirts in white and pink. A good oversized shirt is such a staple in my wardrobe, they’re so versatile! I love them with a pair of skinny jeans on the weekend, or tucked into a pencil skirt for the office.
